IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO STOP US

We kept offering the best of us.

Six months serving the underserved and bringing hope to them, the site was closed by the goverment due to the rain. People were moved to other site called SOBEL and others was reintegrated in communities.

It was our time to evaluate the work we did. In total more than 60 millions Burundian franc in monetary equivalent was calculated. We couldn’t believe, remember we had nothing when it all started. Other parts of support come from local foundraising and our parents supported our transportation.

SOBEL: DOWN BUT NOT OUT

We had to stop our activities in Kigaramango, but we kept a debt towards its inhabitants: The uniforms. The displaced people of Kigaramango had been moved to SOBEL; that is where we had to go to give them who it belonged-the Displaced Children-. We looked for the lists of schoolchildren and we distributed. school uniforms to more than 1000 Displaced Children.
