One day, a woman came to tent with pain. After an interrogation and a physical examination, it turned out that she had some kind of urinary infection, pyelonephritis. Painkillers and antibiotics were prescribed and given to her. Seeing that she had received the help she needed despite her critical condition, she returned later in the day to ask for help for an elderly man who could no longer leave his tent due to his illness. The IMIF doctors went to see him on the spot and he was then taken to the nearest clinic by bicycle. The woman, who was no longer bent over, was now walking behind the bicycle alongside the IMIF doctors to the clinic to become the old man’s sick guard.
She thanked providers for their help and said she felt much better.
The old man was treated and returned home.
