We then serve those who are need. We care the physical (body) of those in need by providing free medical care (that include consultation, medication, ultrasound exams to women,…) and the psychosocial accept of the individu him/herself and then to the family level. We don’t stop by there, we then find what can be done on the level of the community. Sometimes, that can be awareness of different themes, providing kits for better sanitation and hygiene and so on.
In other to offer the resilience to the family and the community, we are planning now to start giving training to women and girls in the community we are serving. Vocational training may be sewing, basic health topics, computer softwares, art, and more.
With the new partnership we had with Hummingbird Medical Resources, once the training starts products made by women and girls will be sold in Burundi and USA. The profit will come back to the women/girls who made the products in order to support her family and Improve the wellbeing of the family.
